How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Mercedes Workshop Manual (“we”, “us”) collects when you use mercedesworkshopmanual.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you buy a manual: your email address and the details of your order, such as the manuals you bought, the price and the date. We do not ask for your name, postal address or phone number at checkout.
Payment: payments are handled by our payment provider, Fygaro, on its secure payment page. We do not see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give it, and the content of your message.
If you create an account: your email address, your password (stored in a scrambled, hashed form) and your order history.
Technical information: like any website, our servers and security providers automatically record technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
We use essential cookies that make the cart, checkout and account login work, and our hosting and security providers set cookies that protect the site from abuse. If you use the accessibility tool, it may store your display preferences on your device. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the store: our payment provider (Fygaro), our email delivery provider, our web hosting and website security providers, and the cloud storage provider that delivers your downloads. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We keep support messages for as long as we need them to help you. If you have an account, we keep it until you ask us to delete it.
